Middletown Elks 2179 "RUN FOR THE KIDS"

We had a fantastic time with the Middletown Elks this past Sunday. Those guys sure know how to throw a party! What a beautiful day for a Poker Run! I don't know what the actual turnout was, but there were a bunch of bikes there, probably more than last year. Take a few minutes and look at the pictures on my page.

This was Sherry's first official poker run! She had a great time and made me proud! I think she's much more comfortable on her Sportster now that we put the forward controls on it. (I'll let her tell you about her experience)

As for me, I brought up the rear and had the important job of chauffeuring my special boy Andrew to the event. He had a great time too! We had a chance to make some great new friends. The Elks really went out of the way to make Andrew and I feel welcome. We also had the pleasure of meeting BobS34 in the flesh. He surprised Andrew with an official, "Run For The Kids" orange t-shirt! Andrew had to show it off by wearing it to school the following morning.

Good riding, good food, good music and good people. What more can you ask for? It was a perfect day in Middletown! Thank you 2179!
